SENnet connects, informs and supports those using technology to improve access to learning for young people with special educational needs. SENnet, established with European Commission funding between 2011 and 2014, is co-ordinated by European Schoolnet.

Network outputs

SENnet produced three thematic studies including 22 video case studies, reports on innovation, digital resources, one on professional development and three annual activity reports including visit and workshop reports; see Video case studies and reports.

 

New learning environments New learning environments

SENnet partners created the SENnet collection in the Learning Resource Exchange, with 630 resources in a range of languages for both access and learning, and designed a new metadata application profile to describe them; read more in this report. Find out more: Digital learning resources.

Teacher competence development Teacher competence development

Partners developed and translated six online professional development modules to raise awareness and develop competences in the inclusion of learners with SEN, making full use of ICT. More than 1,500 teachers have followed the courses already. There is more in the Teacher support section.
